Windows Skydrive

I’ve just signed up with Windows Skydrive, which gives you 25 gig of cloud storage space. Handy (and free). You do need to get a Windows LiveID account, but at least you are not required to acquire a LiveID address to do so. It boasts drag-and-drop capability (though you have to install a little program to enable this). Annoyingly though the drag-and-drop doesn’t apply to folders, so you have to manually create these then drag the files in. it also gives you the option of keeping your files private or sharing them with friends (I haven’t explored this option as yet – I wonder whether that only applies to others with windows LiveID
Certainly could be useful as an additional back-up for your most important files. Photos (for those who don’t want to load them somewhere like Flickr) come to mind. Additionally useful I imagine for those with wireless broadband. Anyone else use any other on-line storage devices for their files?
