I’m John Nebauer, and I work as a liaison librarian at the Regency campus of TAFESA. My program areas cover hospitality, commercial cookery and sport and recreation. I’m interested in how libraries will position themselves as education delivery is delivered increasingly online. I’m also fascinated by online social networks and how they develop communities centered around interests rather than geography.
When I’m not at work, I play boardgames and role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons. I also love writing, and am enrolled in a Professional Writing program at TAFESA. Naturally, I love reading. Not really into sport, with the exception of rugby union and cricket. The former is a problem at home as my wife is a New Zealander, and a passionate All-Blacks fan, whilst I am equally enthusiastic in my support for the Wallabies.
All of the opinions expressed here are my own, and do not necessrily reflect the views of my employer or people that I’ve quoted. They have been carefully vetted by the cat.
