More on RSS

I’ve been using Google Reader for a couple of years now, and this post is for the 23 Things course that TAFESA library staff are currently undertaking. This week we’re meant to add interesting  feeds, and I’ve been doing this so don’t need to repeat the exercise. Interesting blogs have been added to the Links list on this page.

I do find them a good way to keep up with what’s going on in the profession. You’re reading stuff by people who are actually doing things, and also with people who are keeping up with up-to-date information.  I’ve only used page2RSS once (a page of a guy selling boardgames) and the formatting isn’t too flash. However, for a page that you visit regularly it would be a good way of at least knowing that something had changed.
